Hello beauties, today we are going to talk about Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Sunscreen Matte Gel SPF 50 PA+++. It was my favorite sunscreen.

Non sticky face sunscreen

A little bit about sunscreen

Sunscreen is an important way of protecting the skin against the harmful rays of the sun. The most prominent factor that you see on sunscreen is SPF, PA rating, UVA, and UVB.

Let's discuss this in brief:

SPF is known as Sun Protection Factor, and it denoted in number, it basically denotes how much protection it is going to provide against the sun's harmful UVB rays.

Dermatologists recommend an SPF of a minimum of 30 for optimum protection.

PA is known as Protection Grade and it denotes the level of protection from UVA rays. Wherein PA+++ denotes high UVA protection.

I will talk in detail about everything related to sunscreen in another post. To know more, please stay connected.

My experience with Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Sunscreen SPF 50 PA+++

The product comes in a bright orange tube with a flip-open cap. The cap makes a sound while closing it which means it has a lock system that prevents the product from spillage. On squeezing the tube, you will get a thick transparent gel

The consistency of the gel is very smooth. After cleanser and toner, I apply dots of it all over my face and then give it a good massage. The sunscreen absorbs within seconds on the face and leaves a matte finish on the face.

After this, I apply my moisturizer and leave it for a good 2 minutes to absorb into the skin. Then, I do my makeup as usual. The gel spreads very easily on the skin and leaves a cooling sensation on the skin after the application.

The product blends very easily and leaves no white cast on the skin.
