My experience with Maybelline Superstay 24 H Full Coverage Foundation

My foundation was on the verge of getting over and I was looking for some new foundation which makes my skin flawless without making it cakey (I have dark spots on my face due to the treatment I went through). As my face needs color corrector, concealer, foundation, and then again concealer to hide those dark spots, my face looks like a cake at the end of my makeup. I was so frustrated by this if I try to reduce the number of products I use, those dark spots start peeking through the foundation.

The hype that this product has created made me buy this. I searched online about this foundation and finally came to the conclusion of buying it. When the product arrived, it was fully covered in bubble wrap, when I opened it, to my surprise it had a pump also, previously I was using fit me foundation and that does not have that pump thing, I was so happy to open that.

Now, since the foundation came on 15th March and soon after that lockdown was declared so I had no opportunity to wear it outside so I decided to try it in the home itself. The product blends like magic and you need not apply tons of products before that, just this foundation covers all your blemishes. I was shocked as hell by that. I did my makeup, as usual, clicked some photos and keep that for about 4 hours, it was so comfortable on my face that I can't tell you, it glides like magic and stays for a good amount of time without making you face looks cakey. It gives the perfect amount of coverage without making your face cakey.

Difference between blending with fingers and beauty blender

How I use it?

Firstly, I moisturize and prime my face, then I take a pump of both the foundation on the back of my hand, mix them and apply it on my face by dotting it all over the face. Then I take a damp beauty blender and gently dab and press it all over my face. After that, I take loose powder and buff it all over my face to set the foundation in place.

Tip for dry skin people:

Do mix the foundation with 1-2 drops of your favorite oil and then apply it. Then the foundation will not make your skin dry and will stay in place all the time.

Conclusion

One can not get a foundation better than this in such an affordable range. The hype about this product is true. It blends like magic and stays there for long. It stays for good 4-5 hours or even more than that. 

It provides super matte full coverage, always remember to prep your skin beforehand as this is a matte foundation. Avoid layering up the foundation, if you need more coverage just apply concealer on top of the foundation and set it well with powder.

I will definitely buy this product, in fact, I will keep on buying it until I find a dupe for this which is less priced than this. Otherwise, I will keep on using this only.
