Texture and Fragrance

The texture is creamy and it has a mild fragrance like that of some local store cosmetics. Some of the eyeshadow glides on smoothly while others are little chalky in nature.

Pigmentation 

The colors in the palette are highly pigmented. You need just one stroke to deposit the color on your lid. As I have told you, some colors are chalky so it will affect the pigmentation of that particular shade also. In particular, the bright yellow shade disappointed me very much. That shade takes so much effort when it comes to depositing that color on the lid.

I wanted a matte colorful eyeshadow palette for so long. I was searching for an eyeshadow palette like that but all of them were very expensive. I scrolled through many brands and websites but if you want colorful matte eyeshadow, you need to pay a large amount of money. My first eyeshadow palette was from Hilary Rhoda, so I thought of giving it a try. I think they have discontinued that particular palette.

So, I started searching for Hilary Rhoda eyeshadow and I get my eyes on this one. This palette was a perfect choice as it has matte as well as shimmer shades. The pigmentation of the eyeshadows is to die for. Oh my God! each and every shadow is highly pigmented. And the colors of each eyeshadow is very versatile, it has blue, lavender, orange, pink, green and many shades of them. If you want an eyeshadow palette to play around. This would be your perfect pick. 

This eyeshadow palette is a dupe of NYX Ultimate Bight Eyeshadow Palette. That palette retails for Rs. 1725 and you are getting the eyeshadow under Rs. 200. What a steal deal. It has almost the same as the shade range as that of the NYX palette. I have heard mix reviews about that palette so why to spend extra money when you are getting such affordable dupe for that. You can have a look for yourself.

You can create many eyeshadows looks with these. The pan size of each color is very huge. These eyeshadows have no fall off. They blend in very smoothly creating a very beautiful look. This particular eyeshadow palette is available in one more shade. That has many neutral shades, basically, that's a nude palette, if you want a nude palette you can try that one also. It has many shimmer shades and 4 to 5 matte shades.

How I use it?

I am used to doing my eye makeup first, so I prime my eyes by applying a bit of concealer and then set it with a powder. It creates a smooth canvas for the color deposition on my lid. After that, I create my eyeshadow look as I want and then use an eye-liner.

My tip for applying bright eyeshadow 

Do prep your eyes before applying any eyeshadow to get that highly pigmented look. If you don't want to apply concealer all over your lid just apply white eyeshadow on your eyes and then apply that color, it will pop up more and makes your eyes look more beautiful.
