Lakme 9 to 5 Naturale Aloe Aqua Gel Review

review of lakme aloe aqua gel

"Lakme Aloe Aqua Gel is a super lightweight gel which retails for Rs. 200.

It is easily available online, absorbs quickly into the skin and gives a matte finish.

The packaging is super classy but gimmicky at the same time. The Lakme Aloe Aqua Gel is filled with unnecessary fragrance and colours.

I am neutral about this product. It has never irritated my super sensitive skin."

Directions to Use

Step 1: Use your fingertips to apply a thin layer of aloe gel over your face.
Step 2: Spread it evenly to create a smooth texture.
Step 3: Gently massage into your skin to make sure it absorbs well.

Texture, Fragrance

The gel is super lightweight and easy to apply. The gel neither too thick nor too thin, it's somewhere in between.

It spreads super easily on the face and can be used anywhere on the body.

The gel has a super strong fragrance to it, which honestly might irritate some people, so sensitive noses please be aware.

Packaging

The gel comes in super classy packaging, it is for sure the most attractive packaging of an Aloe Vera Gel.

The gel comes in a sturdy plastic tub with a shimmery coppery tone cap. It comes with an outer cardboard packaging too which has the same color theme to it.

The instructions, price, and everything are written on the carton as well as the tub.

Coming to the cons, it does not come with an extra lid so be careful, or else the entire gel will come out if you open it from the opposite side.

The major con is that the packaging of the product is super gimmicky, the tub has a hole from the bottom, apart from the outer size of the tub, there is a small tub made inside which has the gel-filled.

When I saw it for the first time, my heart literally sank.

My Experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Naturale Aloe Aqua Gel

I was always in search of a good aloe vera gel all the time, I have used Aloe Vera Gels from Patanjali, Wow, and many other brands but there was this Aloe Vera Gel from Lakme which always attracts me due to that packaging.

So, one time, I thought let's buy it, I know it was a rational decision but you know that feeling when a certain thing is stuck on your mind, it was just like that.

Okay, so moving forward I purchased it and oh my god, the packaging of the product was super nice, it comes inside a cardboard box, and once you open it, it has this amazing transparent tub with copper-tone shimmery lid.

And let's talk about the most gimmicky part, the actual size of the tub is not the one showed, it's smaller, hmmm with a heavy heart and start opening the tub and what I see is there is no extra lid, so it's not travel friendly too.

Another point was that it is filled with fragrance, I am not allergic to fragrance or something but I know that some people are.

Am I talking about all the cons only, no no stop wait, it's not that bad though, let's talk about the positives, it has a fresh fragrance to it which will instantly light up your mood.

Also, it is super lightweight and spreads on your face like a dream, also it is affordable too.

Coming to the absorption part, it gets absorbed into the skin super quick and I have super sensitive skin, I mean it gets irritated by applying besan on the skin too, and this gel does not irritate my skin so kudos to that, also it settles into your skin and gives a matte finish.

Apart from that this aloe aqua gel was kinda okay for me, not super impressed with it neither I hate it.

How I use it?

  1. I use a wooden spoon to scoop out the gel from the tub and apply it on my face in the AM as a moisturizer.
I have never used it at night since it's super lightweight.
