"Shweta Vijay Nair inspired me to try out this product and she once again made me her fan. The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter works wonders. It retails for INR 1195 but you can always get it on a discount. The texture is very buttery and melts away by the warmth of the fingers. It does not break your skin out. I have used it on myself so no other proof required. It removes even the darkest of lipstick and strongest kohl. The price can be expensive for some but it is worth every single penny."

How to Use?
Apply to dry face and massage into skin. Rinse off with water or remove with a wet muslin cloth for a more thorough cleanse.
Packaging
The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter comes in a round tin tub with a screw open packaging which makes it very travel-friendly. The tub is all silver in color making it look super classy.
The list of ingredients and other necessary details are printed on the sticker which is pasted on the back of the tub. You will find the Cleansing Butter filled to the top after opening the tub.
I feel the packaging is a bit unhygienic as you need to dip your fingers inside, but I don't think of it as a con exactly, you can scoop out the amount needed with cleans hands and it is done.
Texture and Fragrance
The texture of the Cleansing Butter is very creamy and buttery soft. It melts into a thin buttery form when coming in contact with the warmth of the fingers.
It has a mild Chamomile smell that does not stay for a long time.
How my skin is?
Oily, acne-prone, and sensitive.
My experience with The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter
So, I purchased this product on the recommendation of Shweta Vijay Nair(an honest YouTuber), she is all about honest beauty and skincare, and seeing her raving about something so much, I decided to buy this Cleansing Balm.
Also, I was always a micellar water girl and have never used a Cleansing Balm, and that's why I was more titled towards the thought of buying it. And, I brought it home from The Body Shop Store. It retails for INR 1195.
When I opened the tub, the fragrance just shook me away. It was all white butter housed inside that tub and has a very pleasant smell. I took a tiny amount in my hands just to feel the texture and yes it is very buttery.
This removes even your darkest matte lipstick and your strongest kohl. You can feel it to be expensive but considering its pros and its quantity, I don't think it to be that expensive. Plus, if using it on a regular basis, it will last you for 4-5 months.
Coming to the point of whether this breaks you out or not, kid me not, but it prevents you from breaking out by removing your most stubborn makeup. I love love love how it effectively removes the makeup. And you can remove your eye makeup too without any itch or sting.
How I use it?
- I scoop a small amount of it and rub it on my face filled with makeup (I focus on lips first, then eyes and then the rest of the face)
- I then massage it on my face concentrating on a specific part of the face more.
- I then take a cotton pad soaked and squeezed from the warm water and gently remove all my makeup swiping away from the face.
- Lastly, I wash my face using my Homemade Face Wash Powder.
And voila, your face is squeaky clean.
Pros
- Very little quantity required
- Quantity is huge
- Non-oily & smooth texture
- Removes most stubborn makeup
- Mild Camomile fragrance
- Does not break you out
- Safe for sensitive and acne-prone skin
- Safe for removing eye makeup
- Does not itch or sting
Cons
- Can be expensive for some
- Availability
